Microgaming releasing Titans of the Sun mobile slots in October

October is an exciting time for mobile players, with Microgaming releasing two new slots compatible with smartphones and tablets next month.

Microgaming has created two slots, one based on a Greek God and the other on a Greek Goddess – Titans of the Sun Hyperion and Titans of the Sun Theia.

While the slots will be released on the Quickfire platform, they will also be rolled out on the HTML5 platform, meaning mobile players will get access to the two new pokies when they hit our favourite Microgaming mobile casinos.

Just as Microgaming’s Hound Hotel and Kitty Cabana were created to suit dog lovers and feline fans, the two Titans of the Sun slots have been created for females and males, with little difference in gameplay between the two except for one factor that may see you favouring one slot over the other.

Featuring 5 reels and 15 paylines and an array of fitting mythical symbols that are very similar on both slots, including blazing horses and flaming phoenixes, as well as the corresponding Greek God and Goddess.

What makes these slots unique is they both include a Mystery Symbols feature, where mystery symbols all transform into the same single to create a potentially big win. It appears in the base game, with six symbols turning Stacked, and in the Free Spins feature where seven symbols turn Stacked.

There are 15 free spins, activated by at least three Scatter symbols (which is the silhouettes of most likely Theia and Hyperion) and this is where the differences between the slots can be seen. In Hyperion, there is no multiplier but you can re-trigger free spins, while Theia offers a 2x multiplier but the free spins cannot be re-triggered during the Free Spins feature.

So regardless of the theme, you can choose which slot to play based on whether you prefer more free spins or a multiplier. Additionally, Theia offers a bigger win potential over Hyperion so this could be another factor when deciding between the two slots (or you could just try both).

Overall the two slots are aesthetically pleasing, which is expected from Microgaming, and will no doubt look stunning on our smartphones and tablets.

You can watch the trailers for the two slots above.
